Michael Antoon is a highly-skilled attorney with years of court room experience in criminal and civil matters. He is known for his zealous approach to the practice, and his meticulous trial preparation and attention to detail. Meticulously combing through the factual and legal issues of each case, he finds defenses or claims that many lawyers would not take the time to investigate, or even recognize.
Michael understands the constitutional protections afforded to the accused, and he raises these protections in defense of his criminal clients. He is resourceful and creative in his handling of his cases, using conventional and unconventional methods of investigation. He uses all of the modern internet resources to gain as much information as possible from all available sources. Time and again, Michael has proven that a thorough investigation is key to a successful trial practice.
Michael is a “people person” who establishes a rapport with all of his clients; and uses this rapport to help him understand the client’s needs and concerns. Clients are comfortable placing their trust in him knowing that they have a zealous advocate representing them, who cares about them, and is aware of their needs.
In his criminal practice, Michael has taken on some of the toughest defense cases with success. He has handled almost all types of criminal cases both misdemeanor and felony. From minor offenses to the most serious, Michael has shown the ability to examine the facts meticulously, and to apply every favorable aspect of the law and rules of evidence to his clients favor.
Michael handles his civil and personal injury cases with the same zeal, and research skills. His writing ability gives him an advantage in pre-trial motions and appeals. He is the “full package” and has excellent skills in every aspect of the legal practice.
Michael received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northwestern State University of Louisiana in 2007 and his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law School in 2010. He is certified to practice in all Louisiana State Courts and in the Western District Federal Court.
Michael is very involved in community organizations and activities.
